Whitehill & Bordon FC 2-4 Hook FC

Whitehill & Bordon FC were beaten2–4 by Hook FC at The Daly Ground on Monday, despite a spirited second-half fightback from the Stags.

It was a difficult first half for Whitehill, with the visitors taking control and going into the break with a 2–0 advantage. The Stags were left with plenty to do after the interval.

Hook extended their lead in the second half to make it 3–0, leaving Whitehill with a mountain to climb. But the hosts responded well and showed real character to get themselves back into the contest.

Ryan Davis pulled a goal back to give the Stags hope, before Ali Gill with a stunning strike added a second to reduce the deficit to 3–2 and set up a tense finish at The Daly Ground.

With momentum building and Whitehill pushing to find an equaliser, Hook struck again to make it 4–2 and seal the points.

Despite the result, there were positives for the Stags in the way they responded after going three goals behind, showing resilience and determination to get back into the game.
