Match Report: Harvest 4-0 Whitehill & Bordon FC
Whitehill & Bordon FC endured a tough afternoon on the road, falling to a 4-0 defeat against Harvest in the Hampshire Premier League. Despite the scoreline, goalkeeper Joe Choularton put in a standout performance, producing a series of excellent saves, including a superb double stop in the second half.
First Half
Harvest started brightly and took control early on, finding the net to take a 1-0 lead. Whitehill & Bordon struggled to settle into their rhythm, and the hosts capitalised with two more goals before the break, making it 3-0 at halftime.
Despite being three down, the Stags showed resilience, working hard.
Second Half
Whitehill & Bordon came out with better energy after the restart, looking to find a way back into the game. The Stags battled well, but the hosts remained organised at the back, limiting chances.
The highlight of the second half was an outstanding display from Joe Choularton, who produced a stunning double save to deny Harvest from extending their lead. He continued to keep the Stags in the game with some brilliant stops throughout, but eventually, the pressure told as Harvest grabbed a fourth to secure the win.

“It was a tough game today against a strong side. We didn’t start well enough and gave ourselves a lot to do. That being said, Joe was outstanding in goal and pulled off some incredible saves to keep us in it. The lads worked hard, but we know we need to be better in key moments. We’ll regroup and look to respond in the next game.”
