Goals from Henry Smith, Dylan Bonner, and Evan Anderson secured a vital three points on the road to kick off a busy April.

First Half

The Stags got off to a flying start, taking control of the early exchanges and finding the net through Henry Smith, who opened the scoring with a confident finish. That early lead set the tone, and it wasn’t long before Dylan Bonner added a second, finishing off a slick attacking move to make it 0-2.

Whitehill & Bordon maintained their tempo and control, pressing well and moving the ball with purpose. The hosts struggled to cope, and the Stags went into halftime with a deserved two-goal cushion.

Second Half

Hedge End Rangers came out determined to get back into the match, and they managed to pull one back early in the second half. The game took a twist shortly after, as Whitehill & Bordon were reduced to 10 men following a sending off midway through the half. The Stags, however, showed the perfect response, with Evan Anderson restoring the two-goal advantage to make it 1-3.

Hedge End Rangers capitalised with a second goal to close the gap to 2-3, setting up a tense final stretch.

Despite the pressure and being a man down, the Stags defended superbly and managed the game well to see out the result and secure all three points.
