Match Review: Whitehill & Bordon FC 1-0 Bournemouth Sports FC

Whitehill & Bordon FC progressed to the next round of the Cup with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bournemouth Sports FC at Oakmoor School. Oli Graham’s first-half goal proved decisive as the Stags put in a strong defensive performance to secure the win.

First Half

The match began with both teams battling for control on the 3G pitch. Whitehill & Bordon looked sharp from the start, pressing high and creating opportunities.

The breakthrough came in the 13th minute when Oli Graham headed in from a corner to give the Stags a 1-0 lead.

Bournemouth Sports tried to respond but were met with a solid defensive effort from the home side. The Stags went into halftime with a deserved lead.

Second Half

The visitors came out strong in the second half, determined to find an equaliser. However, Whitehill & Bordon’s defence held firm, with the backline putting in a disciplined and composed performance. Despite Bournemouth’s pressure, the home side stood resilient, ensuring there were no late slip-ups.
