Match Review: Whitehill & Bordon 1-3 Locks Heath

Whitehill & Bordon FC faced a challenging afternoon at The BOSC, falling to a 3-1 defeat against Locks Heath in a competitive encounter. Despite a strong first-half performance, the visitors’ clinical finishing proved decisive.

First Half

The game began with both teams battling for control in the midfield, but it was Locks Heath who struck first, taking the lead early.

The Stags responded well, with Dean Worman finding the equaliser after a period of sustained pressure. An excellent effort to bring the score level at 1-1.

As halftime approached, both sides pushed for an advantage, but the score remained tied as the teams headed into the break.

Second Half

The second half saw Locks Heath come out with renewed energy, and they regained the lead, 2-1. Whitehill & Bordon worked hard to get back into the game, but the visitors extended their lead further, 3-1.

Despite the Stags’ best efforts and some promising spells of play, they were unable to find a way back into the match. Locks Heath’s solid defence and composure in attack proved the difference on the day.
